Really enjoyed eating here! I went back to this restaurant a couple of times because it was so good. The food was tasty (the seafood was my favorite) and everything was super fresh. The place has a nice, laid-back vibe and you can even relax by the river that’s connected to the restaurant which was a beautiful view. The staff were friendly, the service was fast, and we felt welcome right away. Definitely a spot I’d come back to when I’m in Hikkaduwa again.

Fresh and Juicy Devilled Seafood We ordered the devilled prawns and calamari and were blown away by the flavors! Perfectly cooked seafood tossed in a spicy, slightly sweet sauce with onions and green chilies — classic Sri Lankan devilled style done right. Everything was fresh and came out piping hot. “Delicious lunch with a stunning view!” We stopped by Hikka Bridge Cafe for lunch and it turned out to be one of the best meals we’ve had in Hikkaduwa. The setting is absolutely beautiful—right by the river, with a gentle breeze and a peaceful vibe. I ordered the grilled chicken with garlic rice, and my partner had the seafood noodles. Both dishes were full of flavor, well-portioned, and freshly prepared. The chicken was juicy and seasoned perfectly, and the seafood was cooked just right—not overdone at all. We also tried their fresh papaya juice—so refreshing on a warm day! Service was friendly and quick, and the prices were reasonable for the quality and location. If you're looking for a great spot to enjoy a relaxing lunch with great food and scenery, this is the place. Highly recommended!

A very sweet and small restaurant with nice atmosphere. We stopped here with our Tuktuk while passing by to Colombo. Because we had luggage in the back and wanted to see the Tuktuk all the time, this place was perfect. The food was very delicious.

The dhal curry was creamy and comforting, while the sambols brought just the right amount of heat and zest. Every plate is served with warmth and a smile, all while you enjoy the serene river backdrop. Portions are generous, prices are fair, and the taste is unforgettable. A true Sri Lankan food gem, only 900 meters from Hikkaduwa town.

amazing The food was outstanding! fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. Hats off to the chef! A wide variety of dishes, from European cuisine to traditional local specialties, were cooked to perfection. The service was excellent, very attentive, and they went out of their way to accommodate our special requests. They were also incredibly warm and welcoming towards the children. The atmosphere was wonderful. Truly the best restaurant in the area!

Lovely food, and great service! We had the veg Kottu to begin with then came back and had the chicken noodles then the veg fried rice and it was all very nice! Staff are very accommodating, and the prices are affordable! Definitely recommend if you’re in Hikkaduwa!

I think this is a top pick if you’re looking for a place to have a meal around Hikka. The vibe was 10/10, and the staff were super friendly. We ordered kottu and rice & curry, but there were plenty of other cuisines to choose from. We had to wait around 20 minutes for the meals to be ready, but they genuinely informed us that it would take a little time to prepare what we ordered. Plus, the wait wasn’t a big deal because of the chill environment.Finally, I’d rate the place 9.9/10 — highly recommended for anyone!
