amazing The food was outstanding! fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. Hats off to the chef! A wide variety of dishes, from European cuisine to traditional local specialties, were cooked to perfection. The service was excellent, very attentive, and they went out of their way to accommodate our special requests. They were also incredibly warm and welcoming towards the children. The atmosphere was wonderful. Truly the best restaurant in the area!

I think this is a top pick if you’re looking for a place to have a meal around Hikka. The vibe was 10/10, and the staff were super friendly. We ordered kottu and rice & curry, but there were plenty of other cuisines to choose from. We had to wait around 20 minutes for the meals to be ready, but they genuinely informed us that it would take a little time to prepare what we ordered. Plus, the wait wasn’t a big deal because of the chill environment.Finally, I’d rate the place 9.9/10 — highly recommended for anyone!

Their traditional rice and curry is simply exceptional — fragrant with aromatic spices, featuring tender chicken, fresh fish, or hearty vegetarian options, alongside perfectly cooked seasonal vegetables. The dhal curry was creamy and comforting, while the sambols brought just the right amount of heat and zest. Every plate is served with warmth and a smile, all while you enjoy the serene river backdrop. Portions are generous, prices are fair, and the taste is unforgettable. A true Sri Lankan food gem, only 900 meters from Hikkaduwa town.
